Another series finished. Kind of gives me a sense of completion, even though if the actual show didn’t.
The past two episodes were entertaining, and showed some character development on Makoto’s part compared to the beginning of the series. However, that all doesn’t amount to much, and I really got more entertainment from Ryuuko, Maekawa, and Meme-tan’s antics than Makoto’s self-progression

Adolescence. The time, it seems, for all people to experience life to their fullest, and gear up for what’s to come later. Makoto Niwa is smart. He’s got it all figured out.
He has the Adolescence Points system.
Makoto doesn’t exactly have the most typical adolescence, though, as far as people go, but nevertheless, he will not allow his crazy aunt and even crazier cousin ruin that for him.

Hmm, so this episode, we get some delicious plot and character development on Erio and perhaps some on Makoto as well.
Umm..err, what I meant to say is we got some delicious shots of Meme-tan, and some even more glorious ones on Ryouko. I swear, this show would be absolutely brilliant even if it had nothing but the characters going for it.

Since SHAFT shows such as this one has no plot development whatsoever plot development disguised rather well, I shall simply summarize that area first, and then leave it at that.
What’s important about this show is that Erio is crazy, Meme is even crazier (I’ll explain this later) and Ryuuko is HHHNNNNGGGHHH.

Denpa Onna is a show about a boy (Makoto Niwa) whose parents are living abroad and is moving out of the countryside into the city to live with his aunt (Meme Touwa) and cousin (Erio Touwa).
Generic enough, right? Certainly, if you didn’t account for the fact that Erio thinks she’s an alien and keeps herself wrapped in a futon all day long, and the entire town is supposedly “watched over by aliens”.
